The Bullseye PelaJerk Rods stand for uncompromising performance, state-of-the-art materials, and proven Swiss top quality. Developed for demanding predatory fish anglers who want no compromises when pelagic and jerk fishing for pike and zander.

Intensively tested – perfectly tuned

In close cooperation with the Bullseye team anglers, including René Berndt and Thomas Kofler, the PelaJerk rods were optimized down to the last detail over numerous test phases. The goal was a rod that was 100% adapted to their fishing methods – both technically and visually.

The result: extremely lightweight, perfectly balanced baitcaster rods with maximum feedback and enormous power reserves.

High-quality materials & maximum feedback

The Lotus-Woven-Composite Blank forms the heart of the PelaJerk series. In combination with the Fuji K SS Alconite guides and the Fuji ECSM reel seat, a direct connection to the blank is created. Even the slightest contacts are transmitted immediately – ideal for precise lure presentation, reliable bite detection, and powerful hooksets.

The short EVA handle ensures excellent handling, especially during active jerk fishing. Thanks to its perfect balance, no additional weight is necessary. Another highlight: the division in the handle, which facilitates transport without affecting the blank's action.

Two proven variants for different areas of application

The PelaJerk rods with a length of 198 cm are available in two powerful versions:

20–85 g casting weight
Based on a 36-ton Lotus-Woven-Composite blank. Extremely sensitive and light, yet with a strong backbone. Ideal for modern jerkbaits as well as pelagic fishing for large predatory fish in still and slowly flowing waters.

40–160 g casting weight
The 40-ton Composite Blank delivers maximum power for large jerkbaits, heavy jig heads, and strong currents. Perfect for tidal waters like the Weser or fast-flowing sections of the Rhine in Germany and the Netherlands.

Both models are exceptionally durable and can withstand up to 9 kg at a 90-degree angle – a value that many specialized vertical rods do not achieve. During the testing phase, even catfish up to 2 m in length were successfully landed.

New: PelaJerk 198 – especially for zander

With the PelaJerk 198 (15–65 g), Bullseye specifically expands the series for pelagic zander fishing and lighter lures. Ideal for sharpshooting, extremely precise yet sensitive during the fight. Not a stiff "club rod," but a finely tuned tool with a high fun factor – a real highlight both technically and visually.
